GL-TURBO Precision Aeration System (GPAC) Debut at Shanghai IE Expo

4/23 - Shanghai - GL-TURBO Precision Aeration Control System (GPAC) was unveiled at the just-concluded 22nd Shanghai IE Expo, attracting the close attention of industry experts, peers and customers.

Based on the actual conditions of the sewage treatment plant aeration tank, GPAC uses both forward calculation and feedback adjustment. It only needs to adjust the blower every 15 minutes while accurately controlling the dissolved oxygen (DO) level to a very small range. Based on several recent success case studies, GPAC's control result have achieved unprecedented level in the industry: controlling DO at the set value ¡À0.5mg/L at 100% success rate and at set value ¡À 0.2mg/L at 98.95% success rate.

"Adjusting every 15 minutes makes sense. As long as the international water association model ASM1 is properly used, there is no need to continuously adjust blower and valve." Commented one industry expert.

Depending on the needs of the wastewater treatment plant, GPAC has several operating setups: Single Basin Single DO (SBSD), Single Basin Multiple DO (SBMD) and Multiple Basin Multiple DO (MBMD).

In SBSD setup, simply the use of dual vane controlled GL-TURBO single-stage high-speed centrifugal blowers and DO meters and without the use of valves, flow meters or pressure gauges, GPAC can achieve precision aeration. With less than 10% investment, it achieves more than 90% return.

GPAC is also ideal for plant upgrade. By adding 1 GL-TURBO single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower, its built-in GPAC is able to control existing blowers for precise aeration.

Impressed by the control effect of GPAC, one customer decided to replace the existing precision aeration system with GPAC right at the expo.

"There are reasons why the control effect of the existing precision aeration system is not ideal. We are fully aware of the difficulty of this project. It's a challenge and but also an opportunity. We are confident that we can meet the challenge and take full advantage of this opportunity to promote GPAC, restore the industry's confidence on precise aeration system, and contribute to the stable operation and energy efficiency of wastewater treatment plants. ." Said Mr. James Jin, founder, chairman and general manager of GL-TURBO.
