GL-TURBO Shines at 2017 WEFTEC
10/5/2015 ¨C Chicago ¨C Yesterday, the 90th Water Environment Federation¡¯s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), at McCormick Place, Chicago, came to an end. From October 2nd to October 4th, GL-TURBO and its US subsidiary GL-TURBO Houston/Lone Star Blower presented a successful joint exhibition.
This year, we met numerous people from diverse backgrounds. We welcomed engineers from top engineering construction and consulting firms in the United States, owners and operators from US municipal WWTPs and from 17 other countries (e.g., Pakistan, Philippines, Japan, Ecuador, Brazil, etc.), as well as distributors from all over the world. It is worth mentioning that major global engineering contractors have put us on their approved vendor lists. GL-TURBO will have the opportunity to participate in many more projects.

In addition to the GL-TURBO high-speed single-stage centrifugal blower cutaway and LS-series multistage turbo blower cutaway, we showcased a GL5 (Pressure Range 20-200 kPag/5-30 PSI, Power Range 132 -370 kw/175-500 hp) single-stage centrifugal blower package at our booth. The packaged system included motor, lubrication system, cooling system, local control panel, inlet air filter, instrumentation, as well as the main blower.

WEFTEC provides us with a top-notch platform. On the one hand, we get to show our advanced technology and one-stop-shop solutions. On the other hand, we get to understand market dynamics and communicate with water professionals/experts. The market has been very competitive, every year we learn from the show that businesses are entering and leaving the market.
